Dr. Vincent J. Schaan is a retired Police Lieutenant with law enforcement and administrative experience, and a passion for truth, justice, and education. With a strong foundation in both practical leadership and academic study, he now seeks to serve churches, schools, and families by offering support in areas such as consulting, speaking, and homeschool curriculum, particularly in government, constitutional studies, and biblical worldview. His goal is to equip others with truth rooted in both Scripture and law.

Dr. Schaan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice from Walden University, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA and national honors through Omega Nu Lambda, the academic honor society for high-achieving doctoral students. His dissertation, titled “Self-Initiated Police Activity, Crime, and Complaints Against Police,” reflects a deep understanding of law enforcement accountability, proactive strategy, and the need for reform grounded in both data and ethics.

He also earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Executive Leadership and Management, graduating summa cum laude. His capstone project, “Selective Enforcement and How It Undermines the Rule of Law,” demonstrates his commitment to constitutional integrity and ethical policing. Dr. Schaan also holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, where he also graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA.

Professionally, Dr. Schaan served as a Police Lieutenant and second-in-command at the Chino Valley Police Department, where he directed key areas such as policy, criminal investigations, patrol operations, budgeting, training, and internal affairs. He also served as an adjunct faculty member at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he taught courses in courts, criminal justice, and the U.S. legal system, bringing real-world experience and policy insight to the classroom.

In addition to his academic and professional background, Dr. Schaan is active in ministry at his local church. He helps lead the youth group, teaches Bible-based lessons to junior high and high school students, and supports children’s ministry through preaching and discipleship. His heart is to point others to Christ while equipping the next generation with the knowledge of truth, justice, and liberty.
